Thank you for using "SkyLink Connect" (the "App"). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy outlines how we handle your data.

1. Information We Collect

The App collects and stores the following information to provide crew communication and flight scheduling:

• Account data: When you sign up, we store your email, display name, and role (e.g. Captain, Flight Attendant, Passenger) in our database. This is used to identify you in the app and in crew chats.
• Flight and chat data: Flights you add, crew members on those flights, and messages you send are stored so you and other crew can see them. Messages are scoped by flight and role group (pro crew vs. passengers).
• Profile photo: If you set a profile photo, it is stored in our cloud storage and displayed to other crew on your flights.
• AI flight scanner (Premium): If you use the scan feature, images you submit are processed to extract flight details. We do not use these images for training or marketing; they are processed to return structured data and are not retained for other purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect solely to provide the core functionality of the App:

• To authenticate you and display your profile to other crew on the same flight.
• To store and display your flights and crew chats.
• To provide the AI flight scanner feature (Premium) by processing images you submit.

We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

3. Data Storage and Third Parties

We use external services to help power the App:

• Supabase: We use Supabase for authentication, database (profiles, flights, flight members, messages), and optional cloud storage for profile photos. Your data is stored in Supabase and transmitted over HTTPS.
• Firebase: We may use Firebase for push notifications (e.g. when crew join your flight). If enabled, device tokens are stored to deliver notifications.
• Apple: Sign-in and subscription payments are processed by Apple. Apple's privacy policy applies to those interactions.
• AI processing: For the AI flight scanner, we may use a cloud AI service to extract text from images. Images are not retained for model training.

4. Data Retention

Account and profile data is retained until you delete your account. Flight and message data is tied to your account; you can leave flights and we may retain messages for the duration that the flight chat is active (e.g. until a set period after the flight date).

5. Your Choices

You can update your profile or delete your account from within the App (Profile settings). Account deletion will remove your profile, flight memberships, and messages from our systems.
