This Privacy Policy describes how You're Almost There ("the App") handles your information. Your privacy is a priority, and the App is designed to collect as little data as possible.

1. Data Collection

Personal Data: The App does not require a user account. We do not collect names, email addresses, or phone numbers.

Location Data: The App requires access to your device's location services (GPS) to determine your distance from your selected destination and trigger the alarm. This includes background location tracking when a trip is active. Location data is processed in real-time on your device and is not stored on any external server linked to your identity.

Preferences: Your saved favorites, settings, and onboarding state are stored locally on your device via UserDefaults. We do not transmit this data externally.

2. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

The App uses Apple's StoreKit 2 to process subscriptions. When you make a purchase, Apple collects payment information and transaction history. We do not have access to your credit card details. Apple provides us with anonymized transaction identifiers to verify your subscription status.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services which may collect data according to their own policies:

• Apple App Store / StoreKit: For payment processing and subscription management.
• Google Maps & Places SDK: For map views and location searches. By using the App, you are also bound by Google's Privacy Policy.
• App Store Connect Analytics: For anonymized crash reports and app usage statistics to help us improve the App.

4. Data Retention

Location data is processed in real-time and is not retained after a trip ends. We do not maintain a permanent historical log of your movements linked to your identity.

5. Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. Since no personal data is collected from any user, we are compliant with COPPA regulations.

6. Your Choices

You can revoke the App's access to your location at any time via your device's Settings. However, doing so will prevent the App from tracking your commute and triggering the alarm.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. Changes are effective immediately upon being posted.
