Terms of Use (EULA)

By downloading or using Reelscraft ("the App"), these terms will automatically apply to you. Please read them carefully before using the App.

1. Standard Apple EULA

The App is licensed to you, not sold. Your use of the App is subject to your prior acceptance of Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement ("Standard EULA"), which can be found at Apple's website.

2. Reelscraft Pro

The App is free to download and use. Reelscraft Pro is an optional, one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase sold through the App Store. It is not a subscription and does not renew. Pro removes the watermark from exports, unlocks 4K export, and includes all updates to version 1.x. Where Apple supports it, the purchase is shared across your iPhone, iPad and Mac signed in with the same Apple Account, and with your Family Sharing group. Purchases are processed by Apple, and refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies.

3. Your Content

You keep all rights to the videos, music and other material you edit in the App. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to use any footage, music, fonts or other content you import, edit or share. Do not use the App to create or distribute content that infringes anyone else's rights or breaks the law.

4. Privacy

The App processes your media on your device. How information is handled is described in the Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the App. In particular you will not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise circumvent the App or its purchase checks, interfere with other users, or use the App for any unlawful purpose.

6. Disclaimer of Warranty

The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, that the App will be error-free or that exports will be compatible with every device or service. Keep your original videos: the App works on copies, but you should not rely on it as your only backup.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall the developer be liable for any loss of data, lost content, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages of any kind arising from your use of the App.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of the App following the posting of changes will mean that you accept and agree to the changes.
