How do I take attendance with QR codes?
Every student has their own QR code. Print the whole class from a class’s Export › Student QR codes (PDF), or share one student’s code from their page. In Attendance mode, tap Scan QR, call a name and scan the code: the student is marked present, or late. If the camera doesn’t open, allow camera access for Pinoy Student Tracker in your phone’s Settings. Scanning happens on your phone and no photos are saved.
A QR code won’t scan.
Make sure it’s a code printed from this app for this class, that it’s flat and well lit, and that it fills most of the frame. Crumpled, faded or very small prints are the usual cause; reprint the sheet if needed.
How do I share a class with another teacher?
Open the class and tap Export › Share class with a teacher (students only), or Share full class record to include scores and attendance. Send the file however you like. The other teacher taps Add class › Import a class and picks the file. The same printed QR codes work on both phones.
How do I import my class list from Excel or CSV?
Tap Add class › Import a class and choose your file. The first row should be headers, with either a Name column (for example “Dela Cruz, Juan”) or Last Name and First Name columns. Sex and LRN (or Student No.) columns are optional. If your list is in Excel, save it as CSV first.
How do iCloud and Google Drive sync work?
Open the … menu on the home screen and choose Backup & sync. On iPhone you can turn on iCloud; on iPhone and Android you can connect Google Drive. Your classes then sync between your devices and are backed up automatically. The App keeps your newest seven backups, and you can restore any of them from the same screen. Google Drive files are kept in a private, app-only folder that the App alone can see.
How do I move to a new phone?
Turn on iCloud or Google Drive in Backup & sync on your old phone and let it sync. On the new phone, install the App, open Backup & sync and turn on the same iCloud account or connect the same Google account; your classes come back, and you can restore a backup if needed. You can also use Backup file › Export all to save every class to one file, then Import file on the new phone.
How do I export to Excel or PDF?
Open a class and tap Export. Choose Excel / Google Sheets (CSV) for grades and attendance as two spreadsheets, or PDF class record for printable tables. Exports follow your current sort, so choose Sort › Boys first, then girls (or Girls first, then boys) for the DepEd order before exporting.
How do I get a refund?
Purchases from the App Store are handled by Apple, so refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. I can’t issue them directly, but I’m happy to help fix whatever went wrong first.
How do I delete my data?
Delete a class from its … menu on the home screen, or remove a student from their page. Deleting the App removes all of its data from your phone. Synced copies stay in your iCloud Drive or Google Drive until you delete them there. There’s no account to close, because there was never one to create.
